I personally have always loved the New Year. It is so exhilarating and exciting to start fresh, to grab a clean sheet of paper and create a NEW year! It is also time to create a new look in your living room. If you are super organized, it is possible that the tree is already down and then you know, with it gone, it seems like there is big hole to fill in your living room. Or if you are like me, you had to move furniture out of the way to fit in the Tree. Either way this is a perfect time to shake things up and bring a new piece in your space! Nothing helps lift up those January Blues better than changing up your living room!!
At Refabulous Furnishings, every month we are gong to feature an accessory item that we think could help add some fun to your house decor. This month it is the Candle holder. There are so many fun looks to create. We have a Candle holder board on our Pinterest Page, check it our for inspiration! I love to set my dining room table even when I’m not having people over. It is just a fun way to display and enjoy some of the dishes and glasses I have collected over the years. Candles are a great way to add some mood lighting and warmth on these cold winter nights!!
It doesn’t take very long after the holidays to start getting a serious case of cabin fever. One way in which I like to freshen up my space after taking down the holiday decorations, is to pull out some of my favorite plates and glassware. I set my dining room table for a possible dinner party! It makes me happy to get those pretty pieces out to enjoy them for a weeks. And I can’t tell you how much I love to wake up to the sight of a perfectly set table!! After a few weeks of enjoying the table, I sometimes will get inspired to invite friends over for a nice meal. If life is just too crazy to get all that shopping, prepping and cooking done I will just change up the centerpiece in February and March maybe splurge on a some Fresh flowers!!
